Baptisms!

23 March 2015

The baptisms when great! Stressful, but great! We helped make enchiladas in the morning. It was fun and pretty easy. I'll make 'em when I get home. We also waited for half an hour before the man who was going to baptize them came, but it worked out well in the end. Picture below.

This last week, we had a specialized training on the Book of Mormon and how we need to flood the earth with it. We read President Benson's talk from October 1988 and I thought how he might have challenged us to use the Book of Mormon more with the technological expansions we've had since his day. He'd probably challenge us to post about it on Facebook and use Twitter and all that other social media to spread it around the world. It's a pretty awesome thought.

Also, in the specialized training, we talked about planning, and how God planned the earth before He made anything and when we plan, we work, and when we work, we're more productive, and when we're more productive, we're happy! Therefore, all happiness starts from planning, and therefore, we need to plan. :)

Yesterday, we went to a Mexican's house for dinner, and we were expecting something like rice and chicken (the usual) for dinner and then we saw the daughter-in-law was making quiche! That's a German dish! She's from Austria. It was a very interesting dinner. There was English, Spanish, and German going around, and we ate salad, bread, and quiche in a Mexican home....It was really interesting, but it was really good, too.
