Because He Lives

This week was a much busier week than last week. Amazing what we can do when we get out of the house. We were showing everyone we could the new Easter video: "Because He Lives." It's a really good video. We almost reached all of our goals for the week! It was a good week.

Another one of my goals this week is to memorize scripture references, because I can tell you where the general area is, but I can't tell you the reference, and it's easier with I-pads to know the reference, not just what the scripture says. So far, not doing so great, but I'll get there! 

I got my first tick this week! We went picking flowers, and then as we came back to the car, something was biting my leg and the Spirit tells me, "You've got a tick." I look, a lo and behold, there was a tick! I was nervous and I told my companion, "I've got a tick," in a cute, nervous, sing-song voice. She came over and pulled it right off. It didn't leave much of a bite and she said it's head isn't in my skin, so I'm happy. I don't know what I'm going to do when she goes. I'll just have to be brave and pull off my own ticks, I guess! She has 7 great danes at home and she says she pulls 100 some-odd ticks everyday off of them in the summer, so she knows how to get them off without any problems. She's amazing.

I learned a lot about marriage and family from this general conference. It really strengthen my resolve to get married in the temple, have children, and teach them the Gospel.
